ATTENTION REVERSE MORTGAGE LOs: Counting NMLS Credits Toward CRMP

27 May

This month on the NRMLA website nrmlaonline.org  the following information was posted:

As a reminder, any person seeking the CRMP designation can count credits they obtained through the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) toward the 12 credits necessary to sit for the CRMP exam or toward re-certification.

If you passed the NMLS exam within the past 12 months, you are eligible to receive three (3) credits, specifically for that portion of the exam dealing with federal real estate laws and regulations. To get the credits, please email a copy of the course syllabus and exam completion certificate to Darryl Hicks, at dhicks@dworbell.com.

In addition to these credits, you may submit for review any other NMLS courses that you take as part of your annual license renewal. NRMLA will accept up to six (6) credits annually for courses unrelated to reverse mortgages. These may include courses offered through NMLS, as well as others related to senior finance, retirement, long-term care and healthcare.

AND DON’T FORGET THE UPCOMING CRMP CREDITS OFFERED BY TRADITION TITLE AGENCY!  Details to follow soon!
